COMPASSIONATE & TARGETED

I will be your trusted ally and a champion for your healing. Together, we will work to overcome your problems in a way that honors your priorities and personal style. Our sessions will be a place of thoughtful discussion infused with warmth, compassion and honesty.

GOAL-DIRECTED & STRENGTHS-ORIENTED

We will celebrate and leverage your strengths while developing new awareness and skills to help you achieve a more satisfying life. In order to keep us on track with the issues that matter most to you, we will set specific goals for therapy at the outset. While we will tend to and explore relevant topics that emerge, you can rest assured that your most pressing concerns will be the priority. I encourage you to give feedback throughout the process to ensure your needs are being met and your time spent is worthwhile.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING

The decision to enter therapy is a powerful step toward meaningful improvements, but I recognize it is not an easy decision for many to justify the time or the expense. My job is to support you using the best of my clinical ability, while respecting the value of your time and resources.  I offer flexible scheduling and a hybrid office (in-person and telehealth) to accommodate your needs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#95759) providing counseling adult individuals and couples via telehealth. After many years in the corporate world, I shifted gears to fulfill my lifelong dream of working with people to enhance their relationships and overcome personal challenges. I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Dominican University and hold a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA.

I have experience treating a large variety of issues, including relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, suicide, anger and stress management. I have two main areas of focus in my practice: 1) Supporting busy professionals in relationships and life transitions; and 2) Family-related issues (family of origin wounds, parenting, divorce, work/life balance, parent-child relationships). I have extensive experience working with youth and families, have worked in elementary, middle and high schools, and am Certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
