STRENGTHENING FAMILIES IS MY PASSION

Even the most loving of families have challenges at times. It is normal for stressful circumstances to take a toll on family life and the wellbeing of family members, and these have certainly been stressful times. I work with parents to deepen understanding of child development, develop more constructive communication within their families and adopt better conflict resolution skills. Whether this involves helping parents to align on a parenting approach or simply supporting a parent with their own stress as they navigate family needs, I am passionate about providing support to positively impact the wellbeing of all family members. I have worked with children and teens of all ages, including as a school counselor at the elementary, middle school and high school level, and a teen counseling clinic. I am a Certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I will meet with you to understand the challenges your family is facing, and then make recommendations for the approach that appears most effective for meeting the needs of all involved.
